Marma are intimately connected to thoughts, perceptions and emotions as well as to the entire fabric of the physical body, Marma chikitsa (practice) can be a powerful ally on the spiritual path, helping to settle the mind and enhance awareness in such practices as meditation, pranayama (breath control) and yogasana, and to free the mind and body of the accumulated stresses and toxins that limit consciousness and burden the heart".

Ayurvedic Therapies: Consultation and Treatment Recommendations

Ayurvedic therapies are offered following a consultation to assess your individual constitutional requirements and recommend the most appropriate massage, therapy treatments and therapeutic oils for your needs.

We work with a wide selection of specialised oils, each with different medicinal properties and traditional applications. Selecting the most suitable oil for massage requires an understanding of your individual constitution, which cannot be determined accurately during a first-time treatment without a prior assessment.

If you choose to book a massage treatment without a prior consultation, we will only be able to use a basic carrier oil. Although excellent in quality, this oil does not offer the specialised properties and benefits of certain herbalised formulations which may be more suitable for you.

Please note that consultations must be booked in advance and cannot be accommodated on the day of your treatment.

FREE 30min Consultations are offered on SATURDAYS 10am - 2pm (New clients only)
