Terms & Conditions
Privacy & Data Policy
We do not disclose, give or store any personal information about our clients without prior consent, unless required by law enforcement for statue. We collect no information about you when visiting our site unless you choose to provide us with that information.
Access to medical file sharing with other medical providers is on the basis of client consent only. If you do provide us information pertaining to yourself we will only hold that information for as long as is required to fulfil the stated purpose of communication, treatment or legal record purposes. It is your legal right to request access to data held.
Payment & Refund Policy
Payment in full is taken on all bookings. We accept cash, debit, all major credit cards & Apple Pay. We operate a 24hr cancellation policy. Any cancellations, no shows or reschedules out of this time frame will incur a full fee cancellation charge.
Appointments
We ask that you please be respectful of the practitioner’s time. Consultation appointments are scheduled on an hourly basis and we are required to adhere to this timetable, often with multiple clinic appointments or home visits scheduled consecutively. Fees are charged on this basis, and any additional time (if available) taken beyond the scheduled appointment will be charged accordingly. If you are late for your appointment, this also applies.
We operate in a multi-disciplinary clinic without a receptionist, therefore please bear with us if you are telephoning. If we are busy and you are unable to get through, please leave us a voicemail message with your name and number and nature of call and we will get back to you as soon as is possible (the fastest way to get in contact with us is via Whatsapp messaging).
Medical Information
Please complete and sign the Medical Information Form upon booking your consultation so we may have all the relevant information to hand.
For chronic issues and/or clients taking several pharmaceutical drugs, we prefer to see a recent full blood test report (within the last 3 months) as well details of any medical diagnosis and hospital diagnostic reports. These files can be shared individually from your Patient Access or downloaded and emailed to us at PEMAEDS@protonmail.com. If you do not have Patient Access, or have trouble managing technical applications, you can request paper copies from your GP. Please bring these copies with you to your initial consultation appointment if possible. If you don't have any recent reports, we can still go ahead with your consultation, however, if stronger or more formula medicines are required we will request the reports.
Disclaimer
We cannot legally claim any cure through Ayurvedic treatment. In some cases, particularly with chronic conditions, treatment may focus on managing the condition rather than achieving a complete cure. This will be discussed with you during your initial consultation or, where appropriate, during a telephone enquiry.
Any advice provided is offered solely from an Ayurvedic perspective and is not intended to replace standard pharmaceutical treatment. Under no circumstances do we advise discontinuing or altering any existing Allopathic medication without first consulting your General Practitioner (GP). Ayurvedic medicines are not intended to be a direct substitute for prescribed medications. It is the patient’s responsibility to consult their GP before making any enquiries or decisions regarding the reduction or cessation of Allopathic medication.
